Notes from the office

The school is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The school day for students is 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Children who are brought to school by parents
should not arrive before 8:35 a.m. No one will be on duty to supervise children before that time.
Students may be picked up at car riders if you have signed your child up to be a car-rider and have a number.  Car-riders are dismissed at 3:25 p.m. daily.

Please, if at all possible, try to keep students going home the same way everyday. It is very difficult
to keep up with different schedules for 700 children!!! If however, your child is going home a different
way, or will be picked up early please send in a note with the students first and last name and the
teacher’s name, as well as the date on the note. All notes get sent to the office. If your child is
going home with another child, both children need to bring in notes. Thank you so much for your
cooperation!!!

Attendance
Please call the office if your child is absent or is going to be absent. It is required by law that we contact
you if your child is not in school. We really appreciate hearing from you, so we don’t have to bother you at home. We have an attendance line that you may leave your child’s information on. Please send in a note on your child’s return to school with your child’s first and last name, teacher, date, and reason your child was
absent from school. Attendance is very, very important to your child’s success at school.
